the quest for the perfect red chanel.
the most timeless chanel bag, in my opinion, is a red lambskin classic flap. over the past ten years i have amassed quite a few chanel purses, yet none of them are red. i was always waiting for the perfect red, and when one would arrive, I never felt confident it was ‘the right one’. So I hesitated for years! Until now. Finally, the perfect red has arrived. From Cruise 2013, it is a bright lipstick red, with cool undertones. None neon, but vibrant. Not too dark, not too tomato-red, not burgundy, but just perfect :)
I chose the Maxi Jumbo size, which is the largest. This will not function as an evening bag, but more as a daytime-casual bag for errands and afternoons out. While some feel the size is just too big, it is actually my favorite size.

kept the arm candy the same as earlier, swapped the Chanel to a Jumbo Yellow Lambskin Classic Flap with gold hardware.
Sparkle Overload
I am sure everyone thought when I was 5 years old being sparkle-obsessed was just a phase. Putting crystals in my hair, on my nails, on my school notebook.. on and on! The joke is on them, I still love a good sparkle overload.
Underneath my arm is one of my most beloved Chanels, it is Medium-size and covered in ombre-effect gold crystals. Surprisingly durable!

In my new place, I am making a real effort to display my pieces rather than hide them in their boxes! So part of this means a great bracelet stand for all the rainbow baubles and wrist-candy.
I cannot express how much more sense it makes to see all your pieces before getting dressed; boxes to hide your bracelets are overrated :)
